
Over a thousand pieces of
Charlton Heston's movie memorabilia will be auctioned off later in the summer according to
The Washington Post (amongst
others). Highlights include the green kaftan that
Ben-Hur wears at the crucifixion and his costume from
The Ten Commandments (1956). But the most impressive item is surely a set of the commandments themselves which are expected to raise $60,000. The auction is due to take place on the 31st July and the 1st August. If only my second child wasn't due to be born the same day...
